Those days are over. These days, the trip from Manhattan to Long Island means an hours-long battle through dense commuter traffic.
Still, the trip is worth it! Once Manhattan and the commuters of her environs are comfortably in the rear-view mirror, Long Island continues to offer a charming rural getaway. And while some things, notably traffic, do change, still others stay the same - a roadside visit to a strawberry stand among them.
While the Packard-driving day-trippers of 1930 wouldn't recognize much of Long Island today, the simple joy found in a basket of fresh strawberries, purchased directly from a farmer would still ring true. Luxury Ingredients: Green tea, Strawberry, Papaya, Cornflower, Natural flavors.
Pour 1qt of boiling water over 1 tea bag. Let steep for 5-8 minutes. Remove tea bag (squeeze to ensure concentrate is full strength). Dilute concentrate by adding 3 qts cold water....add sugar to taste.
