How to Make Tea Marinade

Tea Marinade?


It sounds strange but the result is delicious.







For the marinade use only black unflavored teas or Lapsang Souchong for smoky taste

Marinating time is 6 hours.


2 lb of meat( beef or pork) 


2 tablespoons black unflavored teas

2 cups of boiled water

3 medium onions

Salt and pepper

1. Brew strong tea in a mason jar. Pour boiling water on the tea and close the jar, and let it steep for 20 minutes.
2. Dice the onions, add some pepper and mix.
3. Strain the tea and let it cool to room temperature.
4. Mix the meat and the onions, pour tea over the mix, and let it sit for 6 hours.

Drain the marinade and season meat with some salt before grilling.
