Tea for Cooking: Amazing Rice

If you have some left over Jasmine Green tea, or other green unflavored tea do not throw it out.Try to use this tea as a enhancement for rice cooking.  You can use it instead of water or add to the water. Boil 1.5 cup of water and add 1 tea spoon of Jasmine with Flowers Green or Golden Dragon Organic Green loose leaves tea. Let is infuse for for 5 min. Strain the water, add salt  and use this water to cook 1 cup of  the white Basmati rice.In case of other type of rice, change the proportion accordingly.

 Sprinkle with some Matcha tea powder  for decoration.
