Healthy Easy Chocolate Truffles with Matcha

You can enjoy an endless amount of these truffles without feeling guilty. There is no refined sugar or dairy and they are gluten free.

Medjoon  dates are the base of this recipe.You can find them in most of the stores. They should be soft, if not, soak them 1 hour in warm water. Drain excess liquid. 

2 cups of Medjoon dates

3 Tablespoon of Cacao powderChocolate Matcha Truffles

4 Tsp coconut oil

1 Tsp of Vanilla extract

1. Blend dates, melted coconut oil and cacao powder in the high speed blender ( Vitamix is ideal for this) until smooth consistency.

2. Scoop out the chocolate mix and put them on a baking sheet lined with parchment or wax paper.  

3. Refrigerate for 45 min - 1 hour to firm up.

4.Roll mounds into balls with your hand then roll them into Matcha tea powder.
