For the indigenous Pemon people of Venezuela, Angel Falls is much more than the world's largest uninterrupted waterfall. (The falls drop some 979 m / 3.211 feet.) Known in their language as Parekupa-meru, which means, "waterfall of very deep water", Angel Falls, and the mountains surrounding them are known as Tepui, or the house of the gods. For this reason, the region has held a sacred place in their culture for longer than recorded history allows.
Naturally, for a waterfall of such height, and for such a spiritual place, the mist created by the cascading waters is also held sacred. Some legends maintain that to be bathed in the mist of the falls is to be spiritually cleansed - a sentiment our Master Blender sought to replicate in this superb herb and fruit tea.

Pour 1qt of boiling water over 1 tea bag. Let steep for 5-8 minutes. Remove tea bag (squeeze to ensure concentrate is full strength). Dilute concentrate by adding 3 qts cold water....add sugar to taste.
