Yame Spring Blossom Ceremonial Matcha
A vibrant first flush matcha from Yame, Japan, crafted from a refined blend of Okumidori and Yabukita cultivars. Harvested during Japan’s prized first harvest of the spring season, Yame Spring Blossom Matcha captures the tea leaves at their freshest, when they are naturally rich in sweetness, aroma, and umami.
Smooth, creamy, and exceptionally aromatic, this Japanese matcha opens with a sweet fragrance reminiscent of green candy and fresh spring greens, layered over a deep, lingering umami finish. Its naturally low bitterness and astringency allow the character of the first flush leaves to shine.
Sourced from Yame, Fukuoka, one of Japan’s most celebrated tea-growing regions, this ceremonial-grade matcha is carefully produced to highlight its natural sweetness, vibrant emerald color, and silky texture. It is equally exceptional prepared traditionally as usucha or paired with milk for a rich, elevated matcha latte.
Balanced, expressive, and intensely fresh, Yame Spring Blossom Matcha captures the character of Japan’s first flush in every sip — bright, sweet, creamy, and deeply satisfying.

I’m not saying that the creator of Earl Grey Matcha should win the Nobel Peace Prize. However, if humankind simultaneously prepared and savored just 8 hot ounces of this decadent yet bold blend, I do believe wars would cease and we would all become one beloved family. Am I exaggerating? Maybe. Maybe not. Is the caffeine clouding my judgement? Maybe. Maybe not. Is this the best Earl Grey I’ve ever tasted in all my years on this blue marble? Unequivocally, Yes. If you want to tiptoe through the tulips, this is not the blend for you. If you want take the bull by horns, kiss him on the mouth, then slap his ass and go on your merry freaking way—Earl Grey Matcha is the tea for you. For me. For us. (Back up! I’m not sharing! Ok so, maybe not world peace. But this ish is goooooood!)
Amazing!
Black tea with grape flavor. Really nice tea!
Best tea, okay Vienna Opera Ball is the very very best tea but they have a lot of other absolutely primo stuff.
Great service, and I appreciate that they ship free to APO addresses worldwide. Tea is life.
Very good I would purchase again

i'd been hunting down an affordable but still high quality and nuanced matcha powder i can use for mine and my family's matcha drinks - it's been incredibly fun to try out all kinds of specialty types from different brands and origins, and i keep finding myself coming back to this yame first flush! beautiful bright green, creamy and nutty and very low on the bitterness and astringency. absolutely love this one, i'm about to buy my 2nd 4oz bag!
